Vocation Meditation - Dec. 9
2nd Sunday of Advent

The voice of one crying out in the wilderness. Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths…Bear fruits worthy of repentance.

The path to follow the Lord closely is also called the "road less traveled". What makes it so? Is it because this requires: solitude in prayer? courage in sacrifice? attentive listening? joyful fidelity to one's vocation? and lots of generous giving?

Let us look at Mary, the First to give up her personal path, to take the one that opened the way to our salvation!
