Epiphany 2007
Arise, shine for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
Nations shall come to your light
and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
They shall bring gold, and frankincense,
and shall proclaim the praise of the Lord.
Isaiah 60: 3,6
In his days may righteousness flourish
And peace abound until the moon is no more.
May he have dominion from sea to sea,
and from the River to the ends of the earth.
Psalm 72: 7,8
The sight of the star filled them with delight,
and going into the house they saw the child
with Mary his mother; and falling on their knees,
they did him homage. Then opening their
treasures they offered him gifts of gold,
frankincense and myrrh.
