Meditation

Alleluia, Alleluia, Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in the fire of your love. Alleluia.

Suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues as of fire appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them.
(Acts 2: 1-3)

All were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages as the Spirit gave them ability.

Reflection

How is God calling me to be an instrument of his transforming love in the world?

"The advocate, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name will teach you everything and remind you of all that I have said to you"
(John: 14: 25-26)

Prayer

Lord, send out your Spirit and renew the face of the earth. Stir up in my heart the desire and the confidence to allow your Spirit to lead me and guide my witness today to your transforming love among all whom I will meet. Amen.
