Vocation Meditation - Feb. 3
Consider your call, brothers and sisters: not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no one might boast in the presence of God.
God is the source of your life in Christ Jesus
(1 Corinthians 1:26-31)
Throughout history, God surprised the world by calling women and men — lowly and humble yet generous and willing by consecrating them to live His lifestyle, proclaim His message and work in His Kingdom that blesses the poor, the peacemaker, the suffering, the meek, those who do what is right.
God continues to call. Listen to your heart and seek His voice that says: Follow Me and I will consecrate you to Me!
