Vocation Meditation - Jan. 27
As he walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of people." Immediately they left their nets and followed him.
Jesus first saw Peter and Andrew doing their ordinary job: catching fish. When He called them to Him, He added something new to the usual thing they are good at. Now, they will be fishers of people. Today, Jesus walks along our ordinary, busy lives calling generous women and men like you to do something bigger for His Kingdom but related to what you are good at.
