In addition to being Prior Priest at the Premonstratensian Monastery of St-Constant from 2008 to 2024, Mgr Michel was Novice Director (1989-2008) and a member of the Order’s International Commission for Initial and Ongoing Formation. He is also a biblical scholar with a vast teaching experience. Registration will open in April.

Circles of Light Course

* This year’s continuing education course for vocation and formation ministers is Circles of Light. Together we will explore four topics through the lenses of theology, spirituality, and psychology so that your accompaniment of women and men discerning religious life and the priesthood will be grounded and holistic.

Circles of Light will be held on ZOOM and will include input, conversation, and small group discussion.

Br. Guy Consolmagno, SJ on A Jesuit’s Guide to the Stars

Jesuit spirituality is centered on “finding God in all things.” What better represents “all things” than the universe itself? Jesuits have figured prominently in the history of astronomy, engaging both the mind and the heart… the mathematical and scientific study of the phenomena, and also its history and philosophy, and its reflections in art, photography, and poetry… how we find God in the joy we experience observing the sky.

In the opening chapter of our Scriptures, God creates the heavenly bodies to light the way for humankind (Gen 1:14-18). The immense number of stars points to the surety of God’s promises and divine blessings that are too many to try to count, e.g., descendants to Abraham (Gen 15:5; Deut 1:10-11). Perhaps the most famous star in the Bible is the one that led the magi to the infant Jesus (Matt 2:1-12). In this presentation, we will explore how our biblical ancestors regarded the stars and what they may say to us today about how to discern God’s presence and respond to the divine call to vocation and mission.

Holy Week Online Retreat!

*Due to the COVID-19 crisis, The Daughters of St Paul are offering their annual Holy Week Retreat online this year!

There is no cost for this retreat, which includes conferences, prayer opportunities, and more to help you live this week with the Lord in a rich and intentional way, grow in your relationship with Him, and pray about your vocation. The retreat will run from Wednesday, April 8 through Easter Sunday, April 12.

*Madonna House is offering a summer program for young persons “searching for the deepest meaning of their existence”.

The Program is titled: Love is Stronger: Hope and Faith in the World Today

Madonna House is a community of men and women whose call to live the Gospel of Love has brought them great joy. The Incarnation touches every aspect of life.

If you are between the ages of 19 and 35 and are searching for the deepest meaning of your existence come and experience our daily life of work, prayer and recreation. Hear from our members—women, laymen and priests—about our way of life (The Little Mandate) which you can live anywhere. Come for all 5 weeks or just a minimum of 1 week.
