Archdiocese of Kingston

About Us

The Archdiocese of Kingston, located in Eastern Ontario, serves over 100,000 Catholics under the stewardship of Archbishop Anthony G. Meagher.

The archdiocese serves the People of God, proclaiming the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ, through its fifty-two parishes and missions, from Trenton in the West to Carleton Place and Prescott in the East.

Many different languages, cultures and communities of people are served, through apostolates to Francophone, Hispanic, Ukrainian and Polish communities, as well as ministries to youth, to prisoners, to the deaf and to the aged and infirm.

These parishes, missions, apostolates and ministries are supported by both diocesan and religious priests, communities of religious sisters, a strong diaconate program and many dedicated lay persons.

Mission

We, the community of God’s People in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kingston, united by the Holy Spirit with lives rooted in the Gospel, proclaim with joy the resurrection of Christ and, as followers of the Risen Lord, under the patronage of Mary, the Mother of God, dedicate our lives in Christian service to all, especially to those in most need.
